Pronunciation Tool

Introducing ~ Sanako Pronounce!

Listen, Practice, Learn

A new software addition to our product portfolio, Pronounce combines the latest text-to-speech technology with voice recognition, creating a powerful tool for language learning.  You can listen to authentic speech models, record your own voice for comparison and receive immediate feedback – all within the same program.

What is Sanako Pronounce?

Pronounce allows you to use any written material, documents or online texts and turn them into audio exercises for listening and speaking practice. The imported text material is automatically divided into sentences. You can then listen to the sentence read by a text-to-speech voice and make your own recording. Additionally, Pronounce displays a phonetic transcription of each sentence as a pronunciation aid.

Listen to one word at a time by clicking on the word.  Or, listen to a phrase or sentence.  Record yourself and playback.

Student pronunciation is automatically analyzed and compared with the model audio. Students receive instant feedback on their progress and will see visual indication of what sounds and words to improve on.

Pronounce comes with a selection of ready-made exercises for a variety of languages to allow users to get started instantly.

Your school isn’t ready to commit to a full lab solution yet?  Pronounce is a stand-alone learning tool and therefore does not need to be connected to a language lab.

When used in conjunction with a lab, students will benefit from the speech recognition and analysis elements in it.  Why not convert one or more of your existing classroom PCs into a “state-of-the-art” pronunciation facility by installing Pronounce?
